Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Rob Stewart |
God of Light, through your Spirit you spoke to people long ago as they waited for the God promised Messiah. You spoke to Mary and Joseph as they waited for their first child to be born. And today, we patiently wait for you to speak to us, dear God. Help us to hear your word, feel your peace and know your love, for we ask it in the name of Jesus, the Light of the World. Amen |

Life of the Church | Do You Hear What I Hear | Elder Morella Larsen |
Loving God, you know that this is a season of making our lists and checking them twice. We also know that lists can obscure the vision you have for us this Advent season. As we are busy decorating cookies and hanging lights, let us not forget to feed the hungry and work for a just and peaceful world. As we are enjoying our twinkling homes and gracious gatherings, remind us to care for those who have no warmth or feel no love. Give us generous spirits so that we can pause to smile at those rushing around us or listen to a worried stranger. As we prepare for Christmas, may our acts of kindness surprise others with joy. May our lives show forth to all your extravagant love that we know in Christ. |

Passing of the Peace | O Come, O Come, Emmanuel | Congregation |
Friends, this is the good news: God knows our every weakness and the longings of our hearts. Be lifted up by waves of mercy and carried home to God |
||
Prelude | (on screen & Insert) | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
