Good morning Palm Springs Presbyterian Church Members and Friends!

Last week we announced that Carl Currin and Peggy Kueffer have been elected to our Pastor Nominating Committee. However, we were remiss in not expressing to you, our members, our heartfelt gratitude to you for your overwhelming responsiveness and support with your votes for Carl and Peggy to complete our PNC. With your votes, Carl and Peggy were elected by quorum (over 60%) of you within 4 days, receiving 46 votes each, all ayes, no nays. This is demonstration of your confidence that Carl and Peggy will represent our church extremely well, as well as your tremendous support of our church. Thank you for your participation in this very important process for our church!

ALL: God of mercy, grant that the Word you speak this day may take root in our hearts, and bear fruit to your honor and glory, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

ONE: Remember that our Lord Jesus can sympathize with us in our weaknesses, since in every respect he was tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us then with boldness approach the throne of Grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Let us confess our sins.

ALL: Merciful God, we confess that we have sined against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we haveleft undone. We have not loved you with our whole haeart and mind and strength; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
In you mercy forgive what we have been, help us amend what we are, and direct what we shall be, so that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of your holy name.

Hear the good news!
The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we might be dead to sin, and alive to all that is good.
I declare to you in the mane of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
AMEN

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

ALL: Prepare our hearts, O God, to accept your Word. Silence in us any voice but your own, that, hearing, we may also obey your will; though Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
