Good morning, Palm Springs Presbyterian Church Members and Friends! Welcome to All!!
I would like to take a moment to give a very special welcome for those of you in our congregation today that are new to worshipping with us. I see several of you that have been returning for several weeks and several that are new today. We hope you enjoy our service and that you will continue to worship with us. Let us worship God.

CALL TO CONFESSION
Scripture tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Yet God is merciful as well as just, quick to hear and to forgive when we confess our sins before the throne of grace. Therefore let us with confidence confess our sins before God.
CONFESSION OF SIN
Almighty and gracious God, you have granted us abundant gifts, yet we too often take them for granted or give ourselves the credit for what we have. You have called us to be good stewards of the earth, our health and our possessions, taking good care of all you have given. All of these blessings have been given that we may share with others, yet we have preferred our own comfort.
We add to these now our silent confession:

For these and every way we fall short of your glory, we ask your forgiveness.

The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance: Christ died that we may live. Hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Hallelujah! Amen!

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
