Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Patricia Stout |
Almighty God, you have given us Jesus, light of the world, but we often choose darkness and cling to sins that hide the brightness of your love. We are often reluctant disciples who are slow to speak your gospel. Immersed in ourselves, we have not risen to new life. Baptize us with the Holy Spirit, so that, forgiven and renewed, we may speak your word to all people and tell of your glory shining in the face of Jesus Christ our Lord and our light forever. AMEN. |
||
Life of the Church | Going Home | Karen Roseberry |
God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Believe that in Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. |
||
Passing of the Peace | We Praise You, O God | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | To God Be the Glory | Praise Band |
Open our hearts and minds, O Lord, by the power of your Spirit. Silence in us any thoughts that are not your own. Speak to each of us a word of your wisdom and truth. We ask this in Jesus |
