Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Ron Duvall |
One: God is a welcoming God. God loves with no conditions. God knows everything about us and loves us anyway, so we can be honest as we make our confession. All: Holy God, we only dare approach you because you have invited us to come. You meet us where we are and take us on from there. Forgive us, we pray, for hanging back from you, for thinking that we are beneath your notice, for fearing the changes you may bring to our lives. Help us to trust you with every part of ourselves and to expect your presence in every place and circumstance. Through Jesus Christ the Lord, amen. |

Passing of the Peace | All Creatures of Our God and King | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | My Hope is Built on Nothing Less | Praise Band |
O God, you have shown in Scripture that you want us to know you. Use the Word read and proclaimed this morning to expand our understanding and to spur us to trust and follow you wherever you may lead. May it be so. |
