Pre-worship Music | There Is Power In The Blood | Praise Band |
ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you. ALL: And also with you. |
||
Gathering Song | God Welcomes All | Hymn #399 |
ONE: We proclaim to each other what we have received from the beginning: ALL: God is love, and in perfect love we are all set free. ONE: As free people in the Lord, we must examine ourselves to discern if we are worthy. ALL: Not that anyone of us can earn God |
||
Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Jon Berquist |
ONE: All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; yet God is merciful as well as just, quick to hear and to forgive. Let us then boldly confess our sins before God: ALL: God of love, you have shown yourself to us over and over again. You have given us clear indications of the path that leads to life. But still we wander, easily distracted, too quick to forget and too slow to follow. For these and every way we sin against you, we ask your forgiveness. |
||
Life of the Church | Fill My Cup, Lord | Steve Chown |
ONE: Christ lived for us. Christ died for us. Christ rose for us. Friends, hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven. ALL: Hallellujah! Amen! |
||
Passing of the Peace | Let All Things Now Living | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Rejoice, Ye Pure in Heart | Praise Band |
ALL: O God, open our ears to your teaching, so that our mouths can learn to sing your praise, our feet can learn to follow your steps, and our hands can do your work in this world. |
