ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you.
ALL: And also with you.

One: Let all who take refuge in you be glad;
Many: let them ever sing for joy.
One: Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
All: For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

My Lord, what a morning! The land is alive with new life, the fledglings leap to freedom, we rest in the shade of your trees. Our hearts are thankful for any blessing we receive, for we are rich in your love. Why, then, do we rise from such peace and hate our neighbor? Why do we cry out in fear? Where is our trust in you, that your hand reaches for us to calm our weary hearts? Forgive us, Holy One, let every one feel your Grace and Comfort, and experience the truth of your righteousness. Forgive us our doubt, we pray, in Jesus' name. Amen

The proof of God!

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
