Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | His Name Is Life | Pastor Bill Johnson |
O Gracious and loving God, we praise you for the beauty, wonder, and incredible diversity of the world you created. Help us to learn to live among the diversity you have created that the love of Christ may touch all of your creation. We thank you for the blessings upon blessings that you have given us and especially for the greatest blessing of all: Jesus our Lord. Forgive us when we neglect the blessings you give; when we turn our back on your blessings to us; when we think of ourselves as the ultimate blessing. Thank you for the blessing of your forgiveness; thank you for your love, mercy, and grace that brings us new life in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. |

Prelude | Awesome God | Praise band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Pastoral Greeting | “Bless His Holy Name” | Pastor Bill Johnson |
We trust in God the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. The Spirit justifies us by grace through faith, sets us free to accept ourselves and to love God and neighbor, and binds us together with all believers in the one body of Christ, the Church. In a broken and fearful world the Spirit gives us courage to pray without ceasing, to witness among all peoples to Christ as Lord and Savior, and to work with others for justice, freedom and peace. |
