Good morning, Palm Springs Presbyterian Church Members and Friends!
Welcome to All!!
We hope you were able to join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve. It was a wonderful worship, and we extend our appreciation to Pastor Sally, Alex Danson, Rob Bracken and our very talented Praise Band for their tremendous contributions to this memorable service for us all.
What a giving congregation we are!! Last Sunday you saw the picture of the gifts we donated to our Christmas Angels, and today I would like to show you a picture of your donated sundries to the residents of our local nursing home. Over 60 bags containing your donated items were delivered to our precious individuals this past week. Thank you! [Pause as Alex will show the picture on the screen]

ONE: God commanded, and we were created. God sustains us and enables us to grow.
ALL: Praise God, all who seek to live in faithfulness.
Glorify God

ONE: We have all sinned and fallen short of God

ALL: God has already forgiven us. When we are truly sorry, and seek to change, we are open to accepting that forgiveness. God offers healing for our brokenness. The scars of resentment against others are taken away so we can forgive them. The love of God enables us to love. Friends, hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Hallelujah! Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

ALL: Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen

Holy and gracious God, we are thankful for your love that gave us life, for the mission that gives us purpose, and for the peace that Christ gives us. Keep us from needless anxiety, that we may give without counting the cost.
