Pre-worship Music Do You Know My Jesus?  Praise Band
ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you.
ALL: And also with you.

Gathering Song God Welcomes All  Hymn #399
ALL: Great is the Lord.
ONE: And greatly to be praised!
ALL: God

Welcoming My Peace  Rev. Jon Berquist
ONE: All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; yet God is merciful as well as just, quick to hear and to forgive. Let us then boldly confess our sins before God:
ALL: O God, we know that we should sing your praises in every moment of our lives, but our voices get silenced by own worries and concerns. We have let the noise of the world drown out our praise. Our tongues have stumbled, and we have not learned the words to praise you in public. For these and every way we sin against you, we ask your forgiveness.

Life of the Church I'd Rather Have Jesus  Lynn Hamilton
ONE: Christ lived for us. Christ died for us. Christ rose for us. Friends, hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
ALL: Hallellujah! Amen!

Passing of the Peace A Mighty Fortress Is Our God  Congregation
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Prelude Blest Be The Tie That Binds  Praise Band
O God, open our ears to your teaching, so that our mouths can learn to sing your praise, our feet can learn to follow your steps, and our hands can do your work in this world.
